'Cause that slight glance to the right and the lightning quick strike, it caught you off guard. Oh, you shoulda seen your eyes, a mix of fear and surprise. Impending doom realized. Then you were outta there in just a few seconds flat. Gutless, leaving your gunless partner trapped. I saw the mug shot in the paper the next day. Holy fuckin shit! I stared in disbelief at what appeared to be his face. The perfect plan, the perfect plan gone completely to shit. Next time you're kickin’ down a door, you better know who's on the other side of it.
